The stall up & running

We've been so busy posting on facebook, thats we've not blogged any updates of the stall & how it currently looks - although its always changing! So heres a few images of our little treasures...

Inspired pallets...

Happy Sunday... Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, rain or shine. Today I've spent the day shopping and reading craft blogs but its this idea by A Beautiful Mess that has completely inspired me! What a lovely feature she has created in the garden using recycled pallets & paint pots (YES! paint pots!) Heres a few images of the final results, but check her blog for a step by step guide on how to do it yourself... why not even add candles to some of the tins for a lovely summer glow....

All images are from A Beautiful Mess

Enjoy the rest of the evening!

Doilie heart home garland kit

Today I've been busy making cut out heart buntings, which will soon be sold in kits of various colours. In the image below, I've used an original brown twine for a rustic feel but can't wait to get my hands on some colour!! Each doilie kit will have 24 hearts & twine for you to assemble the garland at home...

Check back for some cute doilie hearts soon :-)

Wedding bells

Hi readers!

Do we hear bells ringing..... Yiippeeeee! We have a wedding next week - which we're so excited for! We've been keeping busy by making decorations for the venue, as you may have seen on our facebook page. The theme is rustic/vintage and most definitely all about handmade. Think hessian, bunting, doilies, birds, lace and wild flowers...

As you can see below, we managed to find a gorgeous vintage suitcase which will be used for guests to place their cards in. We used doilies to create a font on the bunting but you could also print letters or use other materials, such as glitter. We can't wait to see what it will look like on the night...

Not only have we been making bunting for the suitcase but also for the venue. By using string, doilies, glue and brown paper we've created 4 buntings at the size of 3 meters. Each bunting is going to work from different corners of the room and meet in the centre. The brown triangles give the bunting the more rustic feel, add more character!

We've also visited the stall today to add some more treats, so be sure to check them! All our items are now also up on our facebook page where you can buy them! Exciting times!

Please help promote us xx

Pretty Embroidered Drawings

Izziyana Suhaimi has most definitely made our rainy Tuesday afternoon better! We already love mix media art but Izziyana makes it so easy for our eyes. Her hand drawings are super beautiful, so soft & detailed but its the combination of watercolours & the colourful embroidered embellishments that make them so special..... want want want!!!

All images are from Izziyana's tumblr, please check her blog for more!
